“I thought I would check out one Taiji class and was immediately impressed by the authenticity of Master Wong. Without knowing what to expect or how to judge, even as a layman, I could see the value.
I put in the effort—three years of study—and then one day, I was attacked from behind in Seattle. The incident ended without anyone getting hurt. The attacker realized he couldn’t hit me, and I instinctively moved into a ‘feint to the rear / 7-star stance’ without even thinking about it.
I continue to learn, digging deeper and gaining a greater appreciation for the art. In over 20 years of training, I have never seen Master Wong run out of material.
If you don’t see the value, you’re not looking.”
